Bridge the Gap Mission, a local 501c-3 nonprofit and Carolina Cares, a local community outreach group are combining efforts to bring more valuable and impactful programs to the community as a team. The two groups decided that instead of overlapping similar events and connecting people with the same resources, that it was time to get in the community as one. With their new partnership, they will be able to continue to grow the high school equivalency program, computer classes, resource department, and community outreach program. They will be able to make everyday needs more accessible to those in homelessness and poverty situations providing some food, clothing, hygiene items and learning tools.
You may see them around in a neighborhood celebrating community or they are out delivering food to seniors or you might be participating in one of their fun monthly events. Whatever the case, this partnership is going to need lots of extra help as they continue to build on their programs and hope to open their doors to a new resource center.
They are in need of some donations in order to open a space that will provide emergency access to our community members in need. Below you will find a list of needs to open our emergency food pantry and clothing room DONATE:
