Bridge the Gap Mission Board members were at Blue Lights College of Apex. (Picture at the top) Our President and Co-founder Kellan Adkins kicked off our introduction to students at Blue Lights College of Apex. We were there to share our story and mission with the young adults in the room. We were also there to present our first donation of 4 laptop computers and to announce the donation of 2 Scholarships from our Otis Hardy Scholarship Fund. This Scholarship Fund will also be funding some summer camps for needy middle schoolers in Southeast Raleigh.
Thank you to The Cary Rotary Club who made an incredibly generous donation of $3000.00 to kickstart the scholarship fund. Two 2nd year students will be chosen to have their tuition paid in full. Thank you for your generosity.
